We have so much to be thankful for at Little Linc Preschool! We are thankful for precious students, supportive parents, and for everyone who supported Lincoln Village Ministry at our recent banquet. We wouldn’t be here without your support!
Our Little Linc students took home a thankful turkey craft to complete with their parents at home. This is part of our parent involvement program at the preschool, where we invite the parents to participate in the things their child is learning at school. Our prayer was for every parent to have a positive interaction with their child while focusing on something that honors the Lord – gratitude! The children were very proud to bring in their turkeys to share with their class. Our Bible verse for Thanksgiving is Psalm 9:1-2, “I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.”
One of our preschool blessings this school year is our partnership with Hawthorne Conservatory, a ministry of Central Presbyterian Church. This amazing ministry brings dance lessons to our preschool each week free of charge. What a gift for our preschoolers to gain experience in the arts and learn to appreciate music and movement at this young age. We are thankful for our dance teacher, Randal Saraceni, for sharing her love of dance with our preschoolers.

Lincoln Village Ministry | Huntsville AL
Just a few miles from the most expensive houses in the inner city of Huntsville were men, women, and children surviving without the basic necessities. No running water or electricity. Plumbing didn’t work and floors were rotted from leaking pipes. Children had broken toys and went to bed hungry. A man with a heart for this inner city neighborhood stepped into the home of a little girl and her mother. That visit opened the man’s eyes and eventually a community’s eyes to the great need in their midst: the need for Christ.
Lincoln Village Ministries is the product of one man’s call to action. The call has spread all over the city of Huntsville to pour out the hope and love of Jesus Christ into the Lincoln community.
