Serve Day | Red Day
We are so thankful that Madison City Schools chooses Lincoln Village Ministry as a location for their annual serve day, which allows their 10th-grade students to get out and serve in the community while other grade levels are testing. They were able to hear the story of Lincoln Village and then work in our neighborhood to clean up around the houses, prep foundations for repairs and even pain several porches for our residents. They were a great group of students and we are grateful they were able to come and join in the work God is doing here at Lincoln Village Ministry!
On May 9, Keller Williams had their annual “Red Day”, which gives their realtors and employees a chance to give back to the community through service projects. We were fortunate enough to have a group here at Lincoln Village, painting inside and outside of our houses and even installing railing on a front porch! We enjoyed having them here to learn about and take part in the work being done here for the Kingdom!

Lincoln Village Ministry | Huntsville AL
Just a few miles from the most expensive houses in the inner city of Huntsville were men, women, and children surviving without the basic necessities. No running water or electricity. Plumbing didn’t work and floors were rotted from leaking pipes. Children had broken toys and went to bed hungry. A man with a heart for this inner city neighborhood stepped into the home of a little girl and her mother. That visit opened the man’s eyes and eventually a community’s eyes to the great need in their midst: the need for Christ.
Lincoln Village Ministries is the product of one man’s call to action. The call has spread all over the city of Huntsville to pour out the hope and love of Jesus Christ into the Lincoln community.
