New Volunteer Opportunity
“What began as an informal meeting with a Little Linc mom has now grown into a five-year relationship. Through this encounter, the Lord has provided me with one of the sweetest friendships I’ve ever experienced. Because of this gift, we began to dream, pray and asked the Lord to help us create the opportunity for others to begin the same kind of journey. ” (From one of our Faith Partners)
What is a Faith Partner?
A Faith Partner is a 13-week commitment to provide spiritual support to a Lincoln Village parent. This support includes, but is not limited to, being a Christian role model, prayer warrior, confidant, encourager, and advocate.
Faith Partner attends Volunteer Orientation (12 – 1:15 pm) and Discipleship Intro (1:30 – 2:30). We will be offering these sessions the 3rd Wednesday of each month in the Conference room at Lincoln Academy.
You will receive the Faith Partner Guide at the Discipleship Intro. If you have previously attended Volunteer Orientation, you are only required to come to the Discipleship Intro.
After attending the meeting, if you’d like to become a Faith Partner, we will schedule an interview with Mark Stearns and Lakshmi Nallamala. This meeting helps us to more effectively match you with a Co-Partner.
The Faith Partner and Co-Partner meet during event hours, Thursday from 6:00 – 7:00 PM, to take advantage of childcare and dinner. If the Co-Partner is unable to attend during the event times, one-on-one meetings can be scheduled outside of the event times. The spring meetings will begin Feb 6th – May 7th, 2020.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact Summer Raby at 256.701.4303.
We look forward to serving with you!

Lincoln Village Ministry | Huntsville AL
Just a few miles from the most expensive houses in the inner city of Huntsville were men, women, and children surviving without the basic necessities. No running water or electricity. Plumbing didn’t work and floors were rotted from leaking pipes. Children had broken toys and went to bed hungry. A man with a heart for this inner city neighborhood stepped into the home of a little girl and her mother. That visit opened the man’s eyes and eventually a community’s eyes to the great need in their midst: the need for Christ.
Lincoln Village Ministries is the product of one man’s call to action. The call has spread all over the city of Huntsville to pour out the hope and love of Jesus Christ into the Lincoln community.
