The Alabama Accountability Act is a new piece of legislation that allows taxpayers greater control over the allocation of their state tax liability.
The Alabama Accountability Act provides scholarships for students who are zoned for failing public schools to attend qualified private schools. Under some circumstances, it allows for lower-income students to enter a qualified private school.
Through this legislation, taxpayers can receive a TAX CREDIT while designating half of their state income tax liability (up to $50,000 for individuals; no maximum for C Corporations) to a Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO). Lincoln Academy is affiliated with the SGO Scholarship for Kids, located in Birmingham, as well as RocketSGO, located in Huntsville.
You can provide a scholarship at NO cost to you!
